We started with two concepts: Graphic and pet’s favorite product/component.

Majority of the pet owners can agree that dog is by far the favorite pet anyone can relate to. So we kept the happy, smiling dog face to one of the logo designs without overdoing it. 

Next was to keep just a bone that is definitely something your pets like but you can relate to this logo design in a different way.

This is how the designing both these concepts took place.
